Best Parks and Playgrounds Around the Main Line

If you are a parent of little ones this summer, you might already have your weekends booked with BBQs and kids birthday parties, but if not, its always good to get out and explore somewhere new (and plan for the less packed weekends in the Fall and Winter).  Here's a list of some of my favorite outdoor spots to visit, from West to East, with playgrounds or not!  Via Valley Forge  An obvious answer to parks around Philly, but even though this is doesn't have a playground and is geared towards historical tourists, its a GREAT spot to push a stroller. There are a several parking lots and wide open spaces and easy trails to push a stroller along. A very beautiful and pleasant walking experience! Plus, in the winter, its a sledding haven!  Norview Farm Park - King of Prussia  Home of Petrucci's Ice Cream, its a fun spot to visit. Its a real farm with goats, horses, chickens, etc. and even has a small toddler playground. Throw in ice cream, whats not to love?...

End-of-Summer Activity: Stay Safe at the Drive In

Drive ins are becoming popular all around America right now as events are limited and indoor movies are a no-go.  All around Philadelphia are several options worth noting!  This site offers a great overview of options throughout the Greater Philly area  But a few other top picks include:  Family friendly movie pop-up at Oaks Convention Center  The Philly Drive In at Fairmount Park  Drive-In at the Navy Yard  And while its not a movie, drive-ins are now working well for concerts too, like this series at People's Light in Malvern  Happy viewing!

Please don't panic - just stay safe, be courteous have fun where you can! Binge Watch A Long Movie or Show  Photo by  Thought Catalog  on  Unsplash Ever want to watch all of the Lord of the Rings movies back to back? How about rewatching all of  Game of Thrones? What better time than now! (P.s. I bet people aren't stockpiling popcorn!) Tackle a DIY Project  I just posted about great DIY projects for homeowners but if you have something you've been putting off trying and already have the supplies (like you bought all of the new hardware for your kitchen cabinets but just haven't gotten around to installing them) now it the time! Just make sure your DIY project doesn't require 40 trips to Home De...
